
ROXAS City – A 14-year-old boy was apprehended for selling an unlicensed firearm online in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tangque here at around 1:05 p.m. yesterday afternoon.
Officers of the Roxas City Police Station recovered one unit of caliber .38 revolver, five ammunition and P2,500 in buy-bust money from alias “Yan,” 14, and a Grade 9 student.
In an interview with DYVR RMN Roxas, the minor, a resident of the aforementioned barangay, said the firearm he was selling on his social media account was owned by his grandfather.
The minor is now under the custody of the Roxas City Police Station for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
