ILOILO, City – The young man charged with sexually abusing a minor was arrested yesterday in Brgy. Bolilao, Mandurriao district.
The 19-year-old Ralph Pardorla tried to escape when policemen from Police Station 5 in Mandurriao served his arrest warrant around 10:40 a.m.
Judge Adiriano Savillo of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 30 issued the arrest warrant dated May 14 this year against the suspect for the crime of rape.
Pardorla was tagged by Lea (not her real name) for raping her on March 10.
He was the top priority among the wanted persons here, said Senior Supt. Ruperto Floro, city police director.
The suspect is now detained at the Mandurriao police station jail.
No bail bond has been recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
