HAMTIC, Antique – A 15-year-old boy died after saving his sister from drowning at a beach in Sitio Datu Sumakwel, Barangay Malandog here.
Raven Lee Lagunday was with his other younger siblings and other kids on Wednesday afternoon when the incident happened. They were accompanied by a certain “Melanie” an adult.
Some witnesses said the victim was pulled by a big and strong wave after he delivered his sister to safety.
Lagunday’s body was retrieved at around 8:20 p.m. on the same day./PN
