ILOILO City – A brother of Barangay Captain Allan Aurelio of North Baluarte, Molo district was caught in an antidrug buy-bust operation of the police.
Alejandro Aurelio was taken to the Molo police station together with two other suspects – Jimboy Chavez, 30, of Barangay Tanza Baybay, City Proper and Daryl Deduro.
The police carried out the operation early morning of April 1.
Barangay Captain Allan Aurelio knew of the operation and even extended help, said Chief Inspector Marlon Valencia, Molo police chief.
One suspect, however, managed to flee – Francis Miguel of Barangay Cochero, Molo.
The arrested suspects face a charge for illegal drug possession and peddling./PN
