ILOILO City – Two brothers and a friend yielded a .38 unlicensed revolver with ammunitions in a checkpoint in Barangay Tuble, San Dionisio, Iloilo.
Arrested were Anthony Zamora, 29, his younger brother Danilo, 24, both of Barangay Aldeguer, Sara, Iloilo, and Paterno Decosta, 32, of Barangay San Nicolas, San Dionisio town.
The three, aboard a motorcycle, were stopped at the checkpoint around 10:30 p.m. on Monday.
The police found the. 38 inside the motorcycle’s toolbox. The three failed to present pertinent papers and thus would be charged with illegal possession of firearm.
They were detained at the San Dionisio police station./PN
