ILOILO City – For allegedly mauling a man, two brothers were arrested in Barangay Taft North, Mandurriao district.
The 18-year-old Rocky Boy Barrientos and his elder brother Roger, 24, were detained in the lockup facility of the Mandurriao police station.
They were nabbed around 1 p.m. on Wednesday over a complaint. The brothers allegedly mauled the 44-year-old Reynante Nalaunan inside the latter’s house.
According to the police, Nalaunan was taking a rest at his house when the Barrientos brothers entered and hit him with a broken bottle.
The suspects then bear him up, Nalaunan told the cops.
Rocky Boy and Roger tried to evade arrest but failed.
They will be facing charges for frustrated murder and trespassing, police said.
