JORDAN, Guimaras – In Barangay Tamborong, San Lorenzo, Guimaras, two brothers face theft charges over supposedly stolen cables.
Ivan Roquero, 20, and sibling Edzel, 24, were residents of Barangay Alegria, Sibunag, Guimaras.
Around 4 p.m. on Jan. 25, according to the San Lorenzo police station, barangay tanods spotted the brothers on a motorcycle entering a vacant lot of a private corporation and severing cables from a transmitter.
The village watchmen arrested the brothers.
They recovered cutting pliers, a 16-foot long copper wire, bolo, bag, and the brothers’ motorcycle.
The Roqueros were taken to the San Lorenzo police station./PN
