ILOILO City – Police arrested a man in Barangay Tabuc Suba, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.
The 34-year-old resident Ananias Ojario faces a slight physical injury charge under Republic Act 7210, or the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
Ojario was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant around 5:50 a.m. on Monday.
He was detained in the Barotac Nuevo police station lockup facility.
The court recommended an P80,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
