GUIMARAS – Three sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from a man in Barangay San Nicolas, Buenavista town.
The 46-year-old Barangay Supang, Buenavista resident Alfredo Rupico Jr. was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation around 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, a police report showed.
Rupico was caught after he sold one sachet of the suspected drugs to an undercover officer for P500, police said.
Elements of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 6 and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit staged the entrapment operation.
Detained in the lockup cell of the Buenavista police station, Rupico was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
