ILOILO City – An alleged “bukas-kotse” boy struck on Juan Street, Barangay San Antonio, Molo, around 12:57 a.m. on Monday.
“Ang Toyota Wigo sang tag-reklamo naka-park tapos ang gamay nga bintana sini ginbuka,” said Molo police station officer in charge Police Captain Benjie Dicen.
Groceries worth P4,000 were stolen.
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage showed the theft suspect as experienced, according to Punong Barangay Eric Gallego.
At the time of the incident, there was also a grass fire in the barangay, which may have diverted the residents’ attention, added Gallego.
