BACOLOD City – The suspect in a hit-and-run incident on Buri Road, Barangay Mandalagan has surfaced.

Joshua Co of Camella Subdivision, Barangay Mandalagan surrendered to Police Station 3 on April 27, five days after his Toyota Vios hit a man who fell from a motorcycle.

Co’s family promised to shoulder the burial of Hernan Andol Mondia, 22, of Purok Tongoy, Barangay Mandalagan and shell out financial assistance to the young man’s family, said Police Officer 3 Eliseo Andraneda, traffic investigator of Police Station 3.

The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. on April 22. According to Andraneda, Mondia was a motorcycle back rider. He fell from the motorcycle and the Vios tailing the motorcycle hit him.
