BACOLOD City – The motorcycle they were riding hit a passenger bus on the national highway in Crossing Tabao, Barangay Tabao Proper, Valladolid, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Motorcycle driver Jerry Abuyon of Barangay Lacaron, Valladolid died of head and body injuries.
His back rider Renante Mualla – also a resident Lacaron – sustained body injuries. He was currently receiving treatment at the Valladolid District Hospital.
The crash happened around 11:10 p.m. on Thursday, the report stated.
The Ceres bus driver was identified as the 34-year-old Vicente Casag of Barangay Mabini, Valladolid.
It was not immediately clear if he was arrested./PN
