BACOLOD City – After sustaining head injuries, a man died in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, police said.
The 42-year-old Joe Mission Jr. was overrun by a Ceres bus, a police report showed.
Mission was navigating the national road at Bangga San Gregorio Village in Barangay Santo Rosario on board his Honda F1 Click 125 motorcycle when the incident happened around 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
Mission – a resident of Barangay 9, Isabela, Negros Occidental – was not wearing a helmet and had no driver’s license, said Binalbagan police head Chief Inspector Albert Sy.
The bus driver was identified as the 35-year-old Louie Joey Lumanog of Barangay Progreso, Binalbagan.
Lumanog was temporarily held in detention at the municipal police station./PN
