BACOLOD City – The state of the businesses here vastly improved since July, and the recent MassKara Festival further improved business earnings, according to Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI) chief executive officer Frank Carbon.
Tourist arrivals are picking up, too, he observed.
The tourists were from Panay Island, Central and Eastern Visayas, and Mindanao, added Carbon.
Last week, Mayor Alfredo “Albee” Benitez revealed that sales across the city have returned to pre-pandemic levels.
He welcomed the increase in business confidence in his administration.
The city government is planning to host more activities in December to help businesses./PN
