BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Tabao Proper, Valladolid, Negros Occidental.
Suspected shabu weighing about five grams valued at around P34,000 was seized from 23-year-old Jocel Pilarta, a police report showed.
Pilarta – a resident of Barangay Cabug in this city – was caught after he allegedly sold illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P1,000 around 6 a.m. on Sept. 23.
Aside from illegal drugs, policemen also impounded Pilarta’s motorcycle.
Detained in the lockup of the Valladolid municipal police station, the suspect faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
