ILOILO City – Suspected shabu valued at around P34,000 was seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tiring, Cabatuan, Iloilo.
Mayo Lacson, 62, of Barangay Botong, Oton, Iloilo and Rene Boy Ginon, 34, of Barangay Canselayan, Murcia, Negros Occidental yielded the suspected illegal drugs, police said.
Lacson and Ginon were caught after they allegedly sold illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P10,000 around 7 p.m. on Sept. 19, the police added.
Detained in the lockup facility of the Cabatuan municipal police station, the suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
