ILOILO City – A taxi driver accused a colleague of punching him.
Melvin Taxi driver Giovani Dislag, 38, of Barangay Rizal Estanzuela, City Proper allegedly attacked fellow driver Eduardo Castracion, 64, of Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao district.
Dislag was arrested at around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, a police report showed.
Castracion complained to the police that Dislag punched him on the shoulder while they were binge drinking on Mabolo Street, City Proper earlier that day.
Both taxi drivers were drunk, stated the police report.
Dislag was detained at the Iloilo City Police Office’s Police Station 1./PN
