ILOILO City – A taxi driver from Cabatuan, Iloilo was arrested in Barotac Nuevo town for allegedly dealing prohibited drugs.
The 33-year-old Romeo Mina of Rizal Street, Barangay Ilauod, Cabatuan was detained at the Barotac Nuevo police station.
Mina sold a plastic pack of shabu to a poseur buyer for P500 around 11 a.m. on June 4 in Barangay Lagubang, Barotac Nuevo, police said.
The suspect yielded four more plastic packs of the same substance and P600 cash.
Chief Inspector Raymond Celoso, Barotac Nuevo municipal police chief, and Senior Inspector Bonifacio Alabe Jr. led the buy-bust operation./PN
