Cadiao first governor in Region 6 to get Covid-19 vaccine

Governor Rhodora Cadiao of Antique was inoculated with the COVID-19 vaccine on Monday morning.


Cadiao confirmed to Panay News that she was inoculated with Sinovac vaccine to encourage Antiqueños, especially the healthcare workers to get vaccinated as well.

“I’m going to be the first Senior Citizen in Antique to receive a SINOVAC and I would like to assure everybody that before I got the shots, antis ako injectionan ginpamangkot gid ako kang akun nga health. So, tanan kita ka ria kun ingkaso gusto niyo magpabakuna, especially, mga senior citizens, hindi gid kamu magkabalaka sigurado gid ang health personnel nga antis mabaton ang anu man nga bakuna you are ready for it,” said Cadiao.

Meanwhile, Cadiao happily announced that no side effects felt after being vaccinated with Sinovac.

"Wala gid infairness ako sang may nabatyagan," she added. 

Cadiao's fellow governors in the region in the priority list were Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. of Iloilo, Governor Samuel Gumarin of Guimaras, Governor Esteban Contreras of Capiz, Governor Florencio Miraflores of Aklan, and Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson of Negros Occidental./PN
