BACOLOD City – Police arrested a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in Purok Aton, Barangay Zone 3, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
He was 27-year-old Joefil Jaranilla, police said.
Jaranilla – resident of Barangay Tinampaan, Cadiz City – was nabbed after he allegedly sold illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 around 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
Recovered from his suspension were five sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P10,000, the police added.
Jaranilla was detained in the lockup cell of the Cadiz City police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
