BACOLOD City – After hiding from authorities for about 12 years, a man charged with murder was finally arrested.
Jupiter Juanico, 29, was caught Wednesday on the strength of an arrest in his residence in Barangay Luna, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Judge Renato Muñez, then Executive Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 60 in Cadiz City, issued the warrant dated June 16, 2008.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Cadiz City police station.
Muñez recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
