BACOLOD City – A casual employee of the mayor’s office in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental was arrested for illegal drugs.
The 44-year-old resident Jordan Ekeda was caught in an antidrug operation in Purok Salmon, Barangay Zone 6, Cadiz City around 4:15 p.m. on June 12.
Four sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from his possession. The police also confiscated his cellphone.
Ekeda was detained in the lockup cell of the Cadiz City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
