Cadiz posts 5th DFL win

BACOLOD City — Cadiz West Elementary School continued its winning streak with a fifth win against St. John’s Institute (SJI), 3-2, in Group A Under-13 Division of the Dynamic Football League 2nd Conference at the Panaad Park and Sports Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan here.

Christopher Javier hit the first two goals in the 3rd and 8th minutes and Jose Trinidad completes the victory in the 49th minute Saturday

Paolo Gabriel Go awarded SJI in the 9th minute and Joshua Angelo Lomutan in the 46th minute.

Cadiz West will face University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) this coming Saturday.

UNO-R, on the other hand, tamed Andres Bonifacio Elementary School, 13-4, in their match.

Rowel Hautea Jr. starred for UNO-R with four goals in the 26th, 32nd, 35th, and 41st minutes.

Bata Elementary School (ES) defeated Himamaylan Central School, 4-1, while St. Scholastica’s Academy beat Estefania ES, 5-2, in the other matches in Group A.

In Group B, Trinity Christian School won over Bago City ES, 2-0; Don Bosco Technical Institute beat Moises Padilla ES, 6-2; University of St. La Salle–Integrated School (USLS-IS) won against Apolinario Mabini ES, 3-1; while La Consolacion College–Villasor and Sum-ag ES ended in a 1-all draw.

In Under-11 Division, SJI won over UNO-R, 3-2; Trinity Christian School defeated USLS-IS, 3-2; Montevista ES and Bata ES ended in a 3-all draw; and Don Bosco Technical Institute beat Moises Padilla ES./PN
