BACOLOD City – Facing child abuse charges, a woman was arrested on Gustilo Boulevard, Barangay Zone 1, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The 35-year-old alias “Free”, single and a resident of the city’s Barangay Tiglawigan, was caught by officers of the Cadiz City Police Station through the strength of an arrest warrant on Thursday, February 27.
The arrest warrant for violation of Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act, was issued by the Regional Trial Court – Branch 60, dated May 27, 2024.
The accused was detained at the custodial facility of Cadiz City Police Station.
Police said the court recommended an P80,000 bail bond for her temporary liberty./PN
