ILOILO City – Police have arrested a member of the Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit.
Elmar Fuentes has been wanted for a frustrated murder charge, a police report showed.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest in his house in Barangay Manayupit, Maayon, Capiz.
The Cafgu is an auxiliary force of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
To be temporarily spared from detention, the suspect will have to shell out P200,000 – the bail bond set by court.
The 27-year-old was taken to the Maayon police station at 3:30 p.m. after his arrest on May 12, police said./PN
