BACOLOD City – A member of the Citizen Armed Forces Geographical Units (CAFGU) was arrested for shooting a man on Tuesday in Barangay San Rafael, Hinoba-an town.
Jovane Abaz, 27, of Purok 3, Barangay Asia in the town reportedly shot Juben Perez, 20, during a benefit dance at the village’s fiesta.
Perez sustained a wound on his left arm.
The shot cross fired and hit a 15-year-old girl on the left leg, investigation added.
Investigation disclosed that Perez and Abaz had a fist fight before the incident.
The victims were brought to Don Eleuterio T. Decena Memorial Hospital while Abaz was detained at the town’s police station./PN
