ILOILO City – The Capiz Association of Government Public Information Officers, Inc. (CAGPIO) will commemorate super typhoon Yolanda’s third year anniversary with a tree planting activity to be held at Brgy. Lagdungan, Tapaz on Nov. 9.

Maninang in Sapi-an in 2014 to mark the super typhoon’s 1st anniversary which was also in response to a Sangguniang Panlalawigan resolution which called for the conduct of meaningful anti-climate change activities to increase public awareness on the environmental issue..
The super typhoon’s 1st anniversary last Nov. 8, 2014, was also declared as “Thanksgiving Day” in the province. (With a report from PIA)/PN
