ILOILO City – Police arrested a man after he smashed a cellphone on another man’s face in Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo.
The 20-year-old Calaparan resident Jeboy Cabdaing was detained in the Arevalo district police station’s lockup facility.
Cadbaing had an altercation with the 28-year-old Rey Tahum of Barangay Sta. Cruz, Arevalo, a police report showed.
The altercation prompted Cabdaing to hit Tahum’s face using the latter’s cellphone around 10:45 p.m. on Feb. 22, the report added.
The cause of the altercation was not immediately clear but the report said Cabdaing and Tahum’s argument was due to a “Facebook issue.”/PN
