BACOLOD City – Two brothers were facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

They were the 60-year-old Fidel Benalayo and the 59-year-old Vevencio, residents of Barangay Suba, Calatrava, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.

Police arrested the Benalayos at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday after seizing from them two homemade rifles locally known as boga.

Officers took the firearms in custody.
