Calatrava’s 6th ‘most wanted’ collared

BACOLOD City – Calatrava, Negros Occidental’s No. 6 most wanted person has been arrested.

The 34-year-old murder suspect Judy Boy Anig-ig of Barangay Malatas, Calatrava was caught on April 22 in Barangay Poblacion, Toboso, Negros Occidental.

Presiding Judge Danilo Amisola of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 57 (San Carlos City, Negros Occidental) issued the arrest warrant on Dec. 20, 2012 yet.

Anig-ig was accused on September 2011 of stabbing his brother-in-law during an argument.

The victim died.

No bail bond was recommended for Anig-ig’s temporary liberty.

The suspect was detained at the Calatrava police station.

The arresting officers were combined elements of the 3rd Maneuver Platoon, 1st Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company, Regional Intelligence Unit, Toboso police station, Calatrava police station, 2nd Maneuver Platoon, 605th Maneuver Company and 79th Infantry Battalion, Charlie Company, Philippine Army./PN
