ILOILO City – After two years of hiding, a murder suspect was finally arrested in Barangay Balaticon, Calinog, Iloilo.
From his house yesterday, the 26-year-old Benjie Copeta was taken to the Calinog police station.
Combined forces of the Calinog police and Regional Special Operations Unit served Copeta’s arrest warrant around 9:10 a.m.
Judge Loida Diestro-Maputol of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 28 issued the arrest warrant.
The suspect was charged with murder in August 2014. No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
