ILOILO City – A 43-year-old man was found dead in his house at River Plains Subdivision, Barangay Camalig, Jaro district on Saturday.
Alne Hontarigo was last seen alive by neighbors on Nov. 2 around 7 p.m. He was eating at a store and reeking a liquor, police said.
Over the weekend, neighbors checked Hontarigo’s house for the foul smell emanating from there, according to 57-year-old Elsie Loza, president of Block 44, River Plains Subdivision.
They were surprised to find him already dead, said Loza.
Did Hontarigo die of natural causes? Was he killed? The police of Jaro is investigating./PN
