BACOLOD City – In Barangay Poblacion, Bago City, Negros Occidental, a man was found dead submerged in a drainage canal.
He was identified as the 39-year-old Josie Jabajab of Purok Sampaguita in the village, a police report showed.
Jabajab was discovered around 5:15 a.m. on Thursday along Drypuz Street at the Marhil Subdivision.
He was lying face down and half of his body submerged in the water topless, police said.
According to his brother Joemil, Jabajab left their house around 1 a.m. on Thursday.
Police said Jabajab’s body sustained no injuries.
