BACOLOD City – A 51-year-old man was stabbed dead in Hacienda Helen, Purok 9A, Barangay Poblacion 1, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Elpedio Cacayan, a resident of Candoni, Negros Occidental, died of a fatal wound to the back, police said.
According to the police, Cacayan and suspect, 36-year-old Ronnie Arnaez, had an argument around 6:15 p.m. on May 22.
Cacayan was rushed to the Alfredo E. Marañon Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Sagay City where he was declared “dead on arrival” by the attending physician.
The police launched a manhunt on the suspect who fled after the stabbing./PN
