BACOLOD City – He was found after he reportedly jumped off the Payuan Bridge in Barangay Poblacion East, Candoni, Negros Occidental.
The 28-year-old resident Lovel Libo-on was believed to have committed suicide, police said.
Libo-on’s lifeless body was discovered by Joseph Ocampo around 7 a.m. on Feb. 17, police added.
His father, Felipe, said that Lovel had attempted his life twice already prior to the incident.
Officers of the Candoni municipal police station ruled out foul play in the incident./PN
