ILOILO City – Over 2,000 eligible employees of the provincial government will be receiving a one-time incentive of up to P10,000 this December.
Yesterday, Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. signed Appropriation Ordinance No. 2020-07 passed by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan relative to the P29-million Supplemental Budget for the grant of Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) to permanent, co-terminus, elective and plantilla personnel.
Apart from capitol employees, provincial and district hospital workers will also be granted a one-time SRI, pursuant to Administrative Order No. 37 issued by President Rodrigo Duterte.
State workers “deserve to be rewarded” for streamlining government services and delivering public service, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, Duterte said in his order.
The SRI was in addition to the Collective Negotiation Incentive, Productivity Enhancement Incentive, Year-end Bonus and Cash Gift already given to the employees./PN
