Capiz – A 45-year-old woman landed in a hospital after she shot while in transit in Sitio Pinamantawan, Barangay Mianay, Ivisan town on Tuesday afternoon, July 30.
Alias “Sharon,” a resident of President Roxas town, sustained a gunshot wound on her stomach and undergoing treatment at a hospital here.
According to witnesses, two unidentified men wearing bonnets, black shirts, shorts, and slippers boarded the bus during a stopover in Dao.
Upon reaching Sitio Pinamantawan, passengers heared gunshots and later found out that Sharon was hit.
Police said the suspects immediately fled on a motorcycle towards Dao.
Officers of the Ivisan Municipal Police Station were still investigating the incident to identify the gunmen and the motive of the shooting./PN
