CAPIZ – The acting head of the Capiz Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (CAPeNRO) emerged as regional winner of the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) 2021 Search for Outstanding Government Workers Honor Awards Program (HAP), Pagasa Award Category.
Atty. Emilyn Arboleda-Depon said the award was a recognition of their work at CaPENRO such as, among others, the one-million tree project – a tree planting campaign.
CaPENRO personnel, in a statement, hailed Depon’s win.
“This is a confirmation, that under your strong leadership, CaPENRO became one of the very resilient and valuable offices in the provincial government…it has not come short of plans and programs to secure an ecologically sustainable and resilient Capiz,” they said.
The Search for Outstanding Government Workers is done annually and forms part of CSC’s Honor Awards Program (HAP).
The awards are the highest and most coveted recognition given by the government to individuals or groups that excel or show utmost dedication and commitment to public service.
The three award categories under the Search are the Presidential Lingkod Bayan, Outstanding Public Officials and Employees or the Dangal ng Bayan, and the CSC Pagasa./PN
