Capiz guv highlights ‘6-K’ agenda

ROXAS City – Capiz governor Esteban Evan Contreras vowed to work for “6-K” priority agenda.

Contreras underscored his core mission during his oath taking and inauguration as the 22nd governor of the province on June 30.

His “6-K” agenda namely, Karsada (Infrastructure), Kaayong Lawas (Health), Kabuy-anan kag Trabaho (Livelihood and Employment), Kaalam (Knowledge and Skills), Kaayo sang Palibot (Environment), and Kalinong (Peace and Order) aim to sustain economic growth in Capiz.

“In order to establish continuous flow of goods and services and sustain economic growth, we need to maintain and improve our infrastructures,” he said.

Contreras also urged Capiceños to join, cooperate and support him in successfully realizing and delivering to the people all his plans.

Prior to becoming the current governor, Contreras served as a three-termer Sangguniang Panlalawigan member and vice governor of Capiz. (With a report from PIA/PN)
