CAPIZ – The provincial government held the 1st Capiz Mining and Quarrying Summit 2021 on Nov. 24 at Pueblo de Panay, Barangay Lawa-an, Roxas City.
It gave stakeholders in the mining and quarrying industry a platform to discuss concerns and issues relative to environment, according to Capiz Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (CaPENRO) acting chief Atty. Emilyn Arboleda-Depon.
The processes for securing gratuitous permit were also discussed.
Among those who participated were representatives from 15 local government units in Capiz and Department of Public Works and Highways’ Capiz 1st and 2nd District Engineering offices.
Capiz governor Esteban Evan Contreras also graced the event.
