ROXAS City – The Capiz COVID-19 Mobile Vaccination program recently brought its service closer to persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) at the Capiz Rehabilitation Center (CRC) in Barangay Lawaan here.
Carried out by the Capiz provincial government through its Provincial Health Office (PHO), the program was able to serve a total of 244 detainees.
All of them received their booster doses against COVID-19.
Capiz Governor Fredenil “Oto” H. Castro personally supervised the activity which is part of his “Kabuhi Mo, Gugma Ko; Ang Ikaayong Lawas Mo, Kalipay Ko” initiative.
Also present during the activity were Vice Governor James Magbanua, Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Health chairman Thea Faith Reyes, Provincial Health Officer II Dr. Ramon Alex T. Nolasco, Provincial Jail Warden Arjuna Yngcong, and other CRC and PHO personnel./PN
