CAPIZ – The Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) seized P5,361,000 worth of illegal drugs from January to June this year.
Different police units under CPPO recovered a total of 820 grams of illegal drugs, of which 787 grams were shabu and 35 grams marijuana.
Capiz police operatives also apprehended 63 drug suspects.
Meanwhile, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Capiz warned individuals in this province who still engaged in illegal drug trade.
PDEA-Capiz officer Maria Melinda Panaguiton said they will continue their relentless efforts until all those involved in the proliferation of illegal drugs are arrested.
She then acknowledged the crucial role of the community in providing the information that led to the arrest of several drug targets in the province./PN
