Capiz prov’l gov’t back to business

ILOILO City – The provincial capitol of Capiz reopened with 50 percent capacity only.

Some changes though have been imposed for the safety of the public against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The provincial government has set up a waiting area in front of the capitol building for clients who intend to transact business.

A maximum of 30 clients will be catered per day.

Only those subjected for interview transaction would be allowed to go inside the building.

The provincial government also provided two-way radio hand set for personnel manning the waiting area to call various offices at the capitol.

Furthermore, the capitol will also put up closed-circuit television cameras at the building for security purposes.

The capitol reopened last Sept. 8 after shutting down for disinfection.

However, an alternative work arrangement was implemented. Only 50 percent of the respective offices reported to duty within two weeks while the rest were in work-from-home arrangement./PN
