CAPIZ – This province has scrapped that RT-PCR requirement for domestic inbound travelers effective Feb. 3.

This is stipulated in Governor Esteban Evan Contreras’ Executive Order No. 002-A-2022 or “An Order amending Executive Order Number 002, Prescribing the Implementation of Updated Protocols under Alert Level 3.”

Under the order, domestic travelers who are fully vaccinated should only present VaxcertPH/verified vaccination certificate and approved Travel Coordination Permit (TCP) issued by s-pass.ph.

However, they are advised to undergo voluntary quarantine for at least 5 days.

On the other hand, for Returning Overseas Filipinos/ international travelers, as stipulated by IATF Resolution 159, those who are fully vaccinated must comply with a negative RT-PCR taken within 48 hours from other countries, BOQ certificate, approved TCP issued by s-pass.ph, and a home quarantine of seven days.

For partially or unvaccinated ROFs/international travelers, they must also present a negative RT-PCR taken within 48 hours before travel from other countries. They will undergo facility quarantine for five days and testing on the fifth day. They must also present BOQ Certificate and an approved TCP issued by s-pass.ph.

They are maybe allowed to complete the remainder of their mandatory quarantine at their residence only if they do not exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19 infection during the period and after they are cleared by a clinical assessment of their condition./PN
