ROXAS City – The Provincial Health Office (PHO) of Capiz will simulate vaccination for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Feb. 15 at the poolside of the Villareal Stadium.
Its goal is to look for and thresh out possible problems which may slow down vaccination activities once the COVID-19 vaccines become available, said Dr. Ramon Alex Nolasco, newly appointed provincial health officer.
The PHO has identified 28 vaccination sites province-wide. These included rural health units, the Roxas City Health Office, public and private hospitals, and the poolside of Villareal Stadium.
The provincial government targets to immunize 568,364 individuals or 70 percent of the total population.
The provincial government developed a COVID-19 vaccination plan last month. It provides guidance and direction to immunization program managers, implementers, service providers and partners. (PIA-Capiz/PN)
