CAPIZ – The Capiz Provincial Government has started preparing for the Western Visayas Private Schools Athletic Association (WVPRISAA) Meet which will be held in the province from February 20 to 24, 2025.
On January 9, Gov. Fredenil Castro met with the WVPRISAA Board of Regents to discuss the different activities including the venues for sporting events.
The Capiz Villareal Stadium in Roxas City will be one of the main venues, according to Provincial Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer Rio Garcia.
Gov. Castro assured the WVPRISAA Board of Regents that the provincial government is ready to provide all things needed to ensure that success of the this year’s regional PRISAA meet.
“Ginpasalig sang gobernador nga ihambal lamang sa iya ang iban pa nga mga kinahanglan, ukon mga problema nga basi paga-atubangon, kag iban pa nga pwede mabulig sang gobyerno probinsyal para sa nasambit nga mga hinampang… agod mangin malinong kag komportable ang WVPRISAA,” read part of the provincial government’s statement./PN
