MANILA – Taekwondo jins from the Capiz-based Venancio Taekwondo Academy snagged gold and silver medals during the 2nd Lents Beach Poomsae Online Taekwondo Championships over the weekend.
Amelia Marielle Ignacio Chu delivered the gold medal for the stable in the Cadet Blackbelt Division while Mikee Rose Regala snatched the silver medal in the Senior Under 30 Blackbelt Division.
Meanwhile, jins from the Iloilo MVP Taekwondo Gym took home six medals, including four golds, during the 2020 PTA Milo Online National Taekwondo Championships also over the weekend.
Ianna Gabriella Rosales spearheaded the taekwondo jins of head coach Denmark Pinggol as she nabbed gold medals in the free kicking and pad kicking event while James Annrhey Pecayco also garnered gold in the same event.
Viene Marie Dulaca, the youngest poomsae participant from the stable, won the silver medal in the blue belt toddler division while Alicia Sophia Gutierrez settled for bronze medal in the Yellow Cadet/Female Junior category./PN
