She had been listed as the ninth most wanted person in Capiz.
Officers of the Roxas Component City Police Station, in coordination with the Capiz Police Provincial Office’s Intelligence Unit and the Women and Children Protection – Visayas Field Unit, carried out the operation through the strength of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court in Roxas City for violations of Republic Act (RA) 11862, or the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2022, and RA 11930, which criminalizes online sexual abuse and exploitation materials.
The suspect was detained. The court recommended a bail bond of P200,000 for each case for her temporary freedom.
Police Brigadier General Jack L. Wanky, director of the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6), lauded the team behind the arrest.
