ILOILO – A 55-year-old driver was injured after his car overturned along the national highway in Barangay Ungka II, Pavia, Iloilo.
Rolando Consular Jr. of Barangay Magsaysay, La Paz, Iloilo City who was driving his Honda City Sedan hit the Isuzu D-Max of Paul John Frigillano from Barangay Jibao-an, Pavia.
The impact caused Consular to swerve to the center island and overturn at 6:05 p.m. on Friday, July 7.
“Gasunday ang Isuzu D-Mx nga pickup kag ang Honda City Sedan. Halin ang pickup sa Pandac, Pavia pakadto tani sa Iloilo City, pag abot na diri sa GT Mall naghinay hinay siya kay medyo ma-traffic. Gulpiyada lang siya nabungguan sang Honda. Tungod sa madasig nga dalagan sang Honda, nagbungo siya sa center island kag nagbaliskad gid,” said Police Master Sergeant Christian Lloyd Gumban, traffic investigator of the Pavia Municipal Police Station.
Consular sustained head injuries but remained conscious after the accident.
“Gin-aku man sang driver nga naka inum-inum siya kag mapuli na tani,” Gumban added.
The two drivers made some arrangements, and no charges were pressed./PN
