BACOLOD City – He died after a car hit him in Barangay Sum-ag, police said.
The 32-year-old Jessie Patingo of Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental was crossing Araneta Street when a Fortuner car driven by Virgilio Bayon bumped into him, a Police Station 9 report showed.
Police said Patingo was drunk when the Sept. 15 incident happened.
Bayon said he did not notice Patingo crossing the road. But he surrendered to the Police Station 9, where he was detained./PN
